3 Favorite Videos Made By Kids at Our Media Camps

During the spring and summer of 2010 we ran some media camps out of our funky little house in Golden Hill.  We've of course, moved to a larger space in North Park and are running our camps again.  I'm pretty excited as it means I basically get to play with kids, technology and audio/video/web art all day while hopefully, imparting some of my knowledge and enjoyment to the next generations of critical media makers.

Below are 3 of my favorite videos from previous camps (though we have a BUNCH more here).
Enjoy!
The Comeback of the Sisters
Special effects, recorded voices and a great, improvisatory production schedule allowed for this funny and warm short.
Revenge of the Evil Piñata
This one was a group project completed in just about 2 days!  This one pulled some funny pop culture references, fun special effects and some great camera work by our kids.
Clay vs. Paper
This was the work of one of our kids during the camps and used some *great* techniques in stop motion.

P.S.  Camps run November 22nd - 24th, 8:30am-3pm (with extended hours 3pm-5pm)
